Gallbladder perforation with cholecystopleural fistula: a case report

چکیده
The cholelithiasis is a common pathology, however, if left untreated may cause gallbladder perforation (GBP). This complication can include local or generalized biliary spillage, fistulous communication to an adjacent organ. We report case of patient with cholecystopleural fistula in 71-year-old male. Complicated presented GBP into the right pleura cavity, progressing empyema. diagnosis was made preoperatively computed tomography, and treated laparoscopic cholecystectomy, thoracostomy tube, biliopleural fistulectomy. postsurgical outcome satisfactory, uneventful follow-up 3 weeks after.
